My name is Jeff Bearden and I’m the Pump and Field Supervisor for CUDD Energy, and I’m based in Lafayette, LA. Howie Damron first introduced me to AmberTech products in October 2010. I was amazed at the demonstration, but being skeptic, I had my crew test the Ambertech grease because our field relies heavily on lubricating our pumps in the harshest environments of heat and cold. We began testing the AmberTech Grease and witnessed results in greasing interval reductions so drastically that we performed a 500 hour test on the red grease we had been using and the AmberTech Grease. These were our results from our 500 hour test comparing the two greases. The red grease was melting and needed repacking in the 106 degree ambient temperatures in south Texas. We even had to replace worn parts twice during this test using the red grease. The AmberTech grease proved a 70% reduction in interval repacking and we replaced NO WORN PARTS. We began purchasing skids of the AmberTech grease in 35lb pails for all of our applications. Today as a direct result of this implementation, we hardly even recognize that greasing was one of our biggest problems in PM reliability on our equipment thanks to this product.  The AmberTech program has been much more than protection for our duel pumps for coil support. We fully trust AmberTech for all of our greasing applications and there’s no comparison to all the many cost justifications that AmberTech brings to the reliability program over any other grease in our field.
